Frank Gerry is a retired Certified Financial Planner who worked for Sun Life Financial specializing in all financial products. He worked with clients recommending personal products such as life insurance, long term care, critical illness, financial saving as well as group insurance. Previous to that he spent twenty five plus years in retail with both large and small family run businesses. He is now in retirement driving part time for Driving Miss Daisy.

He always been interested in old buildings as well as their history and has been on the Board of the Thunder Bay Museum and Historical Society since 2001. During that time, he has served both as Treasurer and President of the Society. He has also been involved at the Board level with the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) in various roles from regional secretary to regional President to the Canadian NMRA President and now Canadian NMRA treasurer.

His hobbies are model railroading, woodworking, reading and various forms of dancing.
