These are two goalie pads from between 1945-1955. They were manufactured by Cooper Canada Limited in Toronto, Ontario. The outside material is genuine cowhide while the inside is a mixture of foam and deer hair. Cooper Canada Ltd. Went on to be Canada’s leading producer of ice hockey equipment from the 1960s to the 1980s. Cooper was acquired by Bauer hockey in 1990, and was then acquired by Nike in 1995.
