This is a Surge Bucket Milking machine circa 1922-1942 of the Babson Bros. Co. It was the one of the first practical, efficient, and easy milkers of its time. The name comes from the surging action when the it moves back and forth while milking. It was not only easy to clean and sanitize but was also a better milker.
