These artifacts are Ookpiks on a whale bone and a deer antler from 1978. They are an Inuit handcrafted toy traditionally made from sealskin, wolf fur and other materials. One of the original Ookpiks was created in the early 1960’s then recreated again in 1964 by Jeannie Snowball.
