These iron jacks are from around 1920.
Also known as Fivestones, Tali, Astragalus, and Knucklebones, this game is an ancient game dating back to 5000 BC.
The game pieces were originally part of an ankle bone of a sheep that were thrown up and caught. Today, Jacks is played with metal jacks and rubber ball and there are several variations on how to play the game.
