This is a toy pop gun that consists of a tin barrel, varnished wood, a trigger guard and trigger, a lever for loading and a string. The cork that was attached to the end of the string is missing. These toys were invented by Edward Lewis and it uses air pressure to fire the projectile, such as a cork, out.
